ABOUT ME

I've always had a strong need to connect fully with every aspect of my being and with that of my fellow humans, and this brought me to the spiritual path.

At the age of 28, I began meditating and had some deep insights. Subsequently, I connected with my gift of healing, and trained in chakra, aura and spiritual therapy. While working as a physiotherapist with babies and little children, I learned how the body and mind are interconnected and influence each other.

The wish to understand the underlying principles of the interconnectedness between body and mind, led me to Tibetan Buddhism in 1997. The explanations on the nature of reality I received were resonating with my being. It became clear to me that this was my way forward. In 2000, I took ordination and received the name Lhundup Jamyang.

Now, after having studied and experienced Buddhist philosophy for almost 30 years, my aim is to help others ground in reality and find their authentic self. Connecting with our true nature creates the condition where we can live life to the fullest and become the best version of ourselves.

On the advice of my teacher Lama Zopa Rinpoche I engaged in studying Buddhism. I completed the FPMT Basic Program at Chenrezig Institute in Australia in 2006, followed by the FPMT Masters Program in Italy, which I completed in 2017. I continued studying the Masters program for a few more years, wishing to get a deeper understanding of the nature of reality.

In 2019 I left for Dharamsala, India. During the next 5 years I spent teaching courses, mainly at Tushita Meditation Centre and Thosamling Nunnery, but also at other places in the world, both in person and online. It is my passion to make the classical Buddhist teachings and its psychology understandable and accessible for the modern mind.

Since January 2024, I’ve been living and teaching at Nalanda Monastery, France, in the role of the Masters Program Teaching Assistant.
